Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I recently found out I will be teaching 2nd grade for the 2018-2019 school year. This will be my first adventure teaching this grade and I am so excited about this opportunity! I do not know exactly how many students I will have in my class. However, I am preparing for 22 students. To ensure that my students will be successful in the upcoming school year, I want to secure the necessary resources to do so. I know this upcoming school year will be a great one!
My Project
These materials will make a huge difference in my students learning by providing them the materials for a successful school year. My students will be actively engaged in their learning and they should have the materials needed to do so.
For example, the headphones will suffice in listen-to-reading time.
The bean bag chairs will serve as comfortable seating when read-to-self time occurs. The anchor chart paper will be used to create visuals during lessons. The storage bins will be multi-purpose in the classroom.
I hope to provide the the resources necessary for my students to have a great school year and demonstrate mastery, and understanding of learned content.
