My Students

I have an amazing group of students. They come from many different backgrounds.

I love teaching fifth grade and specifically these students!

Many of them come from low-income families. Some of them have hard lives, but that has not caused them to be bitter or to be disrespectful.

I want to help my students be successful in whatever career path they choose, and I believe that they are capable of accomplishing great things with their lives. I tell my students frequently that my expectations for them are very high, because I know they are capable of reaching and exceeding those expectations.

My Project

My students love STEAM and all kinds of crafts/creative design. I have a 3D printer, but it is not in great shape and takes a very long time to print. This 3D printer would make it so that I can do a lot more with my students in the design and coding fields.

I can use this 3D printer to teach my students about how technology can be used in future careers and to benefit others.

I love opportunities for my students to be creative and put their talents to work. This printer is a great opportunity for that.
