This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students live in the city of Springfield. Many come from low-income families and do not have money for school supplies. My students are smart, outgoing and excited to learn.

I want my students to be able to create something that will be so exciting and interesting that it causes other students to ask them about the subject knowledge.

I want to be able to watch my students explain what they have learned to other students in a way that inspires other students to learn about the same subject.

My Project

My classroom's air quality could really benefit with the use of the Dyson Purifier. This year in my class I have eight students that have asthma. One of my students has such bad seasonal allergies that his eyes are constantly watering. I would use the purifier year round. Many of my students got sick this winter with colds, some missing a week of school. Now that spring is coming I know that my students allergies are going to start flaring up.

The air quality in my classroom could be improved to help my students stay healthy and be able to keep coming to school.

I want my students to be able to learn the most they can each and every day. To help my student's education thrive I need them to stay healthy.
