As a teacher in a high poverty area, I find that my students do not have access to all the tools that would help them be more successful in my class, and later on in the real world. I always try to bring into my classroom materials and supplies that will help with their work.
My students are always happy to try new ways to learn the content, and are also smart and creative.
They like to move around and explore, and I can see the excitement on their faces when they get to do new things.
The materials that I am requesting will be used a lot by my French classes. There are different food lessons in my curriculum and also French Club activities when my students will have the opportunity to prepare this French dish.
My students don't have many opportunities to enjoy food from the French world.
We don't have these type of restaurants in our area, and many of my students are never exposed to other cultures. These crepe makers will allow them to interact with other students, get involved with cooking, and also get a cultural taste of this class. Bon Appetit!
