My Students

My students come to my class with varying ability levels. They come from very different backgrounds and home lives. One thing that they all have in common is that they always try to do their best in my class.

I want my students to be able to always do their best in my class and strive to be successful.

I also want them to be able to learn from each other and understand how this skill can help them be successful in their future education and also in their future careers. One student told me recently that I'm the best teacher because I always have the supplies that they need and technology that helps them learn. I wouldn't be the awesome teacher that they think I am without the generosity of DonorsChoose!

My Project

I love our classroom technology and our wonderful SmartBoard, but sometimes it keeps me at the front and unable to walk around and teach. This wireless Wacom board can help us with that.

The Bluetooth Wacom drawing tablet can allow me and the kids to do math problems in front of the class, without being in front of the class.

The drawing tablet can be used from anywhere in the room, which opens up more possibilities during the class period. I can go to the back and still be able to show math work on our SmartBoard. Some kids who are too shy to come to the board, could use this tablet to do them from their desk instead. It just gives us more possibilities in our math classroom. I also added to my project some face masks and pencils. These essentials will help keep my classroom up and running until the end of the year.
