My Students

I am lucky enough to teach some awesome students who are so creative! My students love to explore art through a variety of media and subject matter in the art room. My students love to make art, read, write and play in the art room.

Some people only dream of meeting their favorite artists, I get to see mine everyday at school!

I teach 272 rural elementary school students twice a week for visual arts class. Many of my students come from low income families and being in a very rural area there are not many art opportunities for students. I have such talanted young artists I want to give them as many creative opportunities as I can.

My Project

In my classroom my students currently do not have any flexible seating options in the art room. We only have small classroom chairs or nothing at all. I have many students who would benefit from having more than just one seating option.

When my students are done working they love to hangout on my big rug in the book nook and do free-time play activities but there is not seating there!

Having the Flex-Space Comfy Floor Seats would not only give my students more seating options during work time but during their free time as well. Help support my students flexible learning needs.
