My Students

Are fractions ever hard for you? How about probability?

The third graders in my classroom are very diverse.

As diverse as they are, they are caring and committed to learning as they become independent. They attend a school classified as "high poverty" by DonorsChoose. Everyday, they leave the classroom with smiles.

My Project

These materials will offer a hands-on learning approach to math. The math concepts of fractions and probability may become more concrete when these math manipulatives are placed into the hands of third graders. Furthermore, the materials will allow for various test prep.

Your donation to this project will help make abstract math concepts more concrete as you will be supplying math resources.

With the knowledge of fractions and probability, the third graders will be better equipped for the math of the real world.
