My students need more opportunities to learn about and apply difficult math concepts such as fractions, decimals and geometry! Math games, fun workbooks and activity centers can help all students make sense of challenging topics.

My Students

Learning mathematics in 5th grade can certainly be challenging. I am lucky to have students who are enthusiastic and hardworking! With a high attendance rating as well as continuous improvement all year long, my students never disappoint.

Individual student needs are vastly different due to an incredibly diverse population.

From international students learning English for the first time to those living in poverty who often lack resources at home. Our school works hard to provide for all of these needs.

My Project

Practice makes perfect! The games and workbooks I have selected for my students will continue to help them make sense of 5th grade mathematics. In addition to these, I have also selected some bins to store the items in as there is limited space in our classroom.

Mathematics can be extremely challenging for many students.

By providing games, students can learn without being intimidated by the challenging topics such as fractions and decimals. I continuously try to find unique ways of exploring rational numbers that makes sense to kids. With your help, students can play their way to the top!
