My Students

Our classroom is a place to learn about the world around us and the impact that we have on the people and places we encounter.

Our students are curious about the world around them and the reactions that different people have to historical events.

Our students are eager to read and learn about a variety of events which will then cause them to continue with further reading and research!

They love to know how history has unfolded and how people reacted to these events around them. Our students sometimes can follow historical events better when it is presented through historical fiction books.

My Project

Our students love learning about different eras in our history and the books that we are requesting such as "Bud, Not Buddy" and "Full of Beans" have been requested by students to dig deeper into the Historical Fiction genre.

Donations to this project will allow us to get a variety of historical fiction books.

This is one way to allow students to see the effect that certain historical events may have impacted people that lived during those times. Students also learn to follow historical timelines along with their specific characters' timelines.

Receiving these materials will allow all of our students to read about various historical events and the impact on the stories' characters.
