This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Despite so many hardships, my students come in each day eager to learn and do their best. They want to be in school because they want to learn all they can so they can be successful one day.

I teach a classroom full of wonderful fourth grade students.

Our school is in an inner-city in Arizona. All students in our school receive free breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Our students are very sweet and polite. Many of them come from troubled backgrounds, and many students move frequently.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of 4th graders. They come to school ready to learn everyday. They missed out on so much of the last two years due to Covid, and are eager to make up for lost time.

Students sometimes need a little extra motivation to do their best.

I would like to revamp my prize box for my hard working fourth graders. I see many students throughout the day. We switch for reading based on ability level, as well as for math intervention. These prizes will help to continue to motivate my students.
