My classroom is a dual language fourth grade class. My students have a profound love for the arts, sciences, and literature. My students have a huge interest in reading. They enjoy getting lost in a book’s plot and diving deep into the characters themselves. The even go as far as relating themselves to the characters!
My students enjoy working in groups and are very active in the classroom setting.
As a teacher, this sense of independence is amazing to see. I would like to do my part by making sure that they have nothing to worry about other than developing themselves academically, socially, and emotionally.
My Project
Our student body is made of 26 students eager to learn! Literacy & personal wellness are big focus areas in our school. Students need materials such as looseleaf and pencils for developing their writing. They need dry erase boards to share ideas and do gallery walks.
Fourth graders use dry erase boards, looseleaf and pencils to express, and share ideas in literacy, and supplies like hand sanitizer to clean up when it's all over.
It is essential to their learning to be able to communicate through writing. This way, every child will have an equitable opportunity to learn and grow.
