My Students

I teach Special Education in a small, rural school. I have students who range from mild learning disabilities to more severe developmental delays. They are bright, focused, and ready to learn.

My students have a passion for learning, but often have difficulty learning traditionally.

They're amazingly gifted at seeing things through new lenses, and they love to explore new modes of learning.

My Project

This laptop will allow my students to access a whole new world of possibilities. My students often need material presented to them in new ways, offering presentation and modeling that goes beyond simply telling them the concept we're learning.

Having this kind of technology will give me the ability to help my students learn and grow in ways that are better suited for their particular needs.

This technology will open up doors that before would have stayed shut. My students will be able to experience new manipulatives, new modes of demonstrations, and new experiences that would have not been available to them before. With the impact COVID-19 has had on our students, it is so important to get something like this to help bridge the gaps.
