Fostering a Collaborative Learning Environment

Help me give my students tables for the joy of a collaborative learning environment communicating face to face with others on their team.

My Students

The pandemic has decreased the way students communicate and believe in themselves. They are afraid to work together which decreases their own self esteem. Adding 6 tables to my classroom would encourage communication with others in order to Foster a Collaborative Learning Environment.

This would replicate the workforce in allowing them to collaborate and work as a team to be creative productive citizens.

My Project

Many marketing workplaces are taking down cubicles and adding collaborative working stations which encourage teamwork, brainstorming and communication. In my room we are training for work. This would be applied learning for the workforce.

Help our students thrive in sales and service role playing which will prepare them for the world of work.

With these tables students will collaboratively work on social media campaigns in their community service DECA projects such as campaigns for the United Way Giving project to help others. Face to face teamwork leads to future leaders communicating.
