Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

This summer my students are ages 5 years old to 12. I am teaching enrichment in English Language Arts and Social Studies using writing. My students are full of energy and believe it or not tired of using cell phones for entertainment. Well, I'm here to please. My older students are very helpful, but that is my job. I know that all of my students can write. All of my student's parents work the entire day. Active participation is what my students bring along with imagination, creativity and hard work on whatever I give them.

My Project

My students are hard workers academically as much as they are able. My students need background knowledge. This field trip to the Museum will provide background knowledge. Providing opportunities for my students through exhibit s that bring American, and world history to life will give them an opportunity to open up their world and see beyond their classroom and a video I provide. Students will be able to understand and see primary sources. Students will be able to put what they have learned into words.

This field trip will make History come alive!

Thus, their writing will improve. One word for my student's energy level for an opportunity to engage and learn they blast off!
