My students need a Design and Play STEAM Kit to help them learn about our unit on "Forces in Motion". My students also need Learn About Science Readers to help them continue to learn about science.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are growing up in the age where educators need to be attentive to all types of learning styles. "Fair is not giving everyone the same thing, but rather giving everyone the things they need to be successful." They crave learning with technology, partner work, and a variety of hands-on activities.
My students come from low socio economic backgrounds where most students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
My students are all English Language Learners. My students are eager to learn. Our schools distinguishing practice is "Technology". I am always looking for ways to integrate technology into all subject areas (STEAM- Science, technology, engineering, art, and math). I believe that keeping students engaged in learning is the key to success!
My Project
My students are eager learners. Our last unit for the year will focus on "Foces in Motion". We have been using our Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) & STEAM projects to make learning fun and exciting.
My students will love using the Design & Play STEAM kit integrated into the unit.
The students will have the opportunity to build either a car, airplane or boat. The students will write out their learning. The studnts projects will be on display for Open House in June. I'm sure this project will be the highlight of Open House and a project they will get to take home and treasure.
