The students who will benefit from this are amazing because they show exceptional maturity, scholastic merit and leadership potential. They are wonderful students to be around and always give their best in literally everything they do!
My students LOVE to read!
We are wanting to explore various literary elements through a book study of Charlotte's Web. This is a great story for this age group as there is so much to learn and so many hands on activities we can do with this book.
With this being said, I would like to provide a class set of this classic book for my classes to enjoy for many years to come!
My Project
I would like to do two different book studies with my students. One would be Charlotte's Web for ELAR and one would be Flat Stanley for Social Studies.
Sometimes it's best to put a textbook to the side and learn in different ways - through reading different things and doing hands-on activities!
My students love learning and reading about various subjects. Charlotte's Web is a classic that would help us learn about being kind and helping each other. At one point, Wilbur is at the county fair. I would like to tie this in to our local county stock show when we go and look at the various show animals. Flat Stanley would help us learn about life and people in different places. We would love to be able to explore so much through these books!
