My Students
My students are hungry readers that desire to learn in order to engage their world and grow in comprehension and cultivation. The sky is limitless when their imaginations are set on fire. I am privileged to teach eager students that are ready to learn each and every day. I am a bilingual, third grade teacher and I desire to enhance their lives with a determined purpose for success. Sure, they are in a low poverty area; nevertheless, they are surrounded by visionary teachers and a committed administration that will stop at nothing to see them rise to the top.
My Project
My students are looking to utilize the Mevo Camera to script their way to the top. Utilizing their creativity, the students will write personal narratives, expository essays, and procedural texts then produce unique and original scenes, commercials, and documentaries as a means to understand both the writing and theater arts process. As the students hone in on their writing, they will perfect their scenes by taking ownership on the direction, scenery, and storyboards. The students will take their learning to the next level when they realize how their hard work and perseverance can help them achieve their dreams and create their world.
