I teach some amazing 6th graders. They are kind, funny, and extremely caring.
My students love to read and next year, I hope to do some book clubs with them during our Literacy Interventions.
I have chosen the books “Wonder” and “Fish in a Tree” because I think they teach some really valuable lessons to young readers. The focus for these book clubs is to teach empathy, compassion, and so much more. Please help me share these wonderful books with my students!
“Wonder” and “Fish in a Tree” are by far two of my favorite young adult books and I would absolutely love to share them with my students. The only problem is that I am primarily a Social Studies Teacher and I need my budget for materials for Social Studies. I have had a hard time finding meaningful activities for my literacy intervention class that doesn’t break the bank. I have finally found some amazing resources for book clubs for these two books... I just need the books to make this dream come true. Please consider helping us purchase these books for our classroom!
