My Project

My students are kind and eager to learn. It is a very long day for these little 5 year olds and a snack midday helps recharge their little batteries.

Most of my students come from homes that do not have a lot of extra funds or enough food to feed the family.

If I can provide an additional snack to have before heading home or throughout the day, it makes all the difference in the world for them.

Our students get a free breakfast and lunch at school, but we eat at 9:00 and then 11:00 and they have no other food until they go home at 3:30.
