Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Local football team that was affect by Hurricane Irma. Yearly budget to manage a team can be costly and many of the equipment we have is outdated and need to be replaced. My school is a Title I school where resources are very thin and sports relive the economic tension the kids experience. Last football season the team made the playoff for the first time in ten years and we did not have the correct footballs to participate in the game.

My school is a Title I school where resources are very thin and sports relive the economic tension the kids experience. Last football season the team made the playoff for the first time in ten years and we did not have the correct footballs to participate in the game. Luckily the opposing team allowed us to borrow their footballs. The experience was very embarrassing for the kids. The kids play showed and the result was a defeat.

The equipment being donated will be very appreciated and will help the kids practice with confidence knowing that they are using the correct equipment to play the game they love.
