My Students

I teach a group of seniors at BHS in Denton ISD in Texas. My students are excited to learn about the different properties of food. They come in every day ready to pack the knowledge into their brains. They are a great group of kids and they deserve the best. I have a wonderful mix of students. Some have a lot of experience in the kitchen and some have none. This has already been a great year and I am looking forward to what this year has in store.

My Project

I am going to show my students how they can preserve food. These will help my students put their knowledge into real life activities. Learning always hits home when they can see their learning in motion. These dehydrators will not only help the students this year, but they will continue to bring the learning to students that will be in my class in the future. Imagine how a students life can be changed by helping them learn how to feed themselves. I want to show them the beauty of a dehydrator. This machine can help make healthy snacks as well as some amazing jerky. Help me make this a reality.
