These students are eager, young learners from diverse backgrounds. Each morning, students come running in with a smile, ready to take on the day. They love to get up and move around, dance with instruments, and play in a way that can be best described as "chaotic".
These students show a kindness that goes beyond their years so we try to give them a well-rounded education that is much deserved.
When these loving children show their gratitude with "hug-a-bugs" or an ear-to-ear smile, it makes it all so worthwhile.
My Project
We are looking for healthy snacks for our young learners. Though we believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, some of our students arrive without having had their breakfasts which impedes their ability to focus and do their work.
We want to fuel our children with healthy snacks so they are all ready to learn and play.
Much of our snacks throughout the year comes from parents and families. A majority of our students come from low-income families. While we are so grateful for their donations, we would love to lift the burden of the added expense.
