My Students

My students are very diverse in a diverse community. They bring so much joy to my heart. They are the cutest and the most motivated kids. They see the good and the best in each other and try real hard to be a family. We also are a Title I school and my students struggle to make at home connections but truly blossom at school. They are smart and intelligent and love hands-on learning. My students deserve a comfortable environment to work and play

My Project

My students are hungry. A lot of my students come to school without a snack and have to stay after school for tutoring. They are hungry and would love to have a snack to keep their minds strong. We are an in an extremely low income neighborhood and would benefit from having snacks. A lot of students don't have parents that will give them snacks and also don't have the time. Majority of my students are in tutoring for free daycare. I would like this time to be purposeful and it his hard when students are hungry and don't have any food
