This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach a wonderful group of sixth-grade students in a high needs school in the western part of North Carolina. One hundred percent of the students at my school receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My students come in eager to learn with the materials that we have for them.
The teachers at our school go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure every need of each child is met. Thank you in advance for helping our classroom.
My Project
My students have their on bank accounts in my classroom and I have added a Sweet Tooth price list for students who have the money to buy it. Our online banking system has been hit around the school and more teachers are buying into this PBIS. Students are able to use their accounts to get headphones in class, fancy pencils and so much more. I have decided to add a snacks portion for students, now the prices will be extremely high due to high demand so students would have to work hard to be able to afford these snacks. I have also included an Oculus VR for my students to earn a day using the VR in the classroom. We are blessed to have several gadgets that the students can have extra free time on such as iPads, bluetooth speakers and fancy PL seating. This would be the icing on the cake.
