My students need snacks in order to proceed throughout the day. According to Kids Health "A well-timed snack can even out spikes in hunger and provide a much-needed energy boost between meals."

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The CU Crew are a wild, intelligent bunch that are in the stages of development where they are sponges inside and outside of the classroom. They are engaged with learning and ask questions that the average adult wouldn't even think of asking. Their brains are growing day by day and they enjoy every minute of it.
My scholars are unique individuals that face challenges every day whether it be academic or life .
They are hardworking, kind kids that use anything and everything to help themselves. They ask questions, work hard, and enjoy a challenge. Though various students face challenges outside of the classroom they always mange to walk through the doors of the school with smiles on their faces.
My Project
In order for a scholar to do the best work that they can, they must not have distractions. My scholars excel at focusing when needed, but sometimes the focus will be lost because of they are hungry.
When a scholar is hungry their focus goes from the material and task on hand to focusing on their hunger.
Also when a scholar is hungry they tend to doze off during class because their focus is else where. These snacks will help us get through a semester or longer. These bulk items are perfect to give each student a snack once per day in the classroom. With these snacks they will be better focused and handle the task on hand like the champions they are!
