Food For Learning

Help me give my students breakfast options if they arrive at school too late for breakfast, plus snacks such as goldfish, chips and fruit snacks, to keep them full and ready to learn throughout the day!

My Students

I teach first and second-grade special needs students at a Title I school. I am constantly looking for new ways to help these children meet their needs in and out of their classrooms. With this project, I hope to be able to provide them with healthy snack options to have throughout the day to allow them to focus on learning!

My Project

These items will be used by my students when they need breakfast or snacks throughout the day. When children are hungry it is so much harder to then go focus and learn. Sometimes the kids arrive late and need a breakfast option available so they don’t have to wait until their lunch period to eat. Snack time is provided in their classrooms but oftentimes my students either forget or don’t have snacks to bring with them. Please consider donating to this project to provide them with these various food options. Thank you!
