My Students
My students attend a Title I, inner-city public school. My school serves 930 students. Our school is very diverse and we have many bilingual and international students. Our neighborhood is also very diverse, and all of our students live within the neighborhood. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students and school need support and resources to continue our successes.
My school community will need support with food and supplies to help during our quarantine.
This project will supply families with dried foods and can goods to help them through this tough time.
My Project
My students and my school are currently closed due to the COVID-19 virus. Families and students need supplies to help keep their bodies and minds thriving and healthy. These items will go directly to students and families from our food pantry. As we move towards distance learning, students will need meal items at the ready at home. Imagine you are working and learning at the dining room table, and you need a bite to eat.
Our students and families deserve the best, and we can show them support and love in this way.
Students and families can use these items to help them get through this challenge which many in our country are facing. Help me provide these pantry staples for my school community. These items can help with helping families stretch their resources.
