This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school has the most dedicated staff, administration, and families that work hard to close the achievement gap together. Every day you'll see kids and teachers smiling and laughing in and out of the class, parents happily chatting with teachers, and students helping each other. Our school is one big family where teachers love teaching and students love learning.

We are a Title I California school with the majority of our families living in low-income housing and homes with multiple families under one roof.

My Project

My students need partition privacy folders with storage rack for testing and whenever they feel like they need them during individual class work. For majority of our class time, our students are all about working in groups and collaboration, but there are times when some students want and feel the need for some individual time. The partition folders will not only help them during testing, but students will also have the option of using them whenever they need individual time to complete assignments or just want a break.

These partition folders provide privacy and a space for students to focus in order for them to be successful.
