My Students

As I have moved to a new school, my students have not yet experienced the power of manipulative graphic organizers in the form of Foldables!

My students come from a very small town and school with a high free and reduced price lunch rate.

With 250 students K-12, we are lucky to know all the students by name. The community has an agricultural background. The railroad is a large employer for the town as well as a nearby power plant. My students are proud of their background and are looking forward to their future after high school.

My Project

My students will be using the buckets to store their Foldable supplies so they are always at the ready. With scissors and glue they will be able to create their Foldable notes. The display board will allow my students to proudly display their work in the classroom.

I completed my Master's research on Foldables in my previous school and I found they were highly effective in helping students learn and retain information better than traditional teaching methods.

My new students need this same advantage!
