Help me give my students earbuds and supplies to meet their goals of increasing their achievement levels, and improve their focus by limiting distractions, and meeting needs of diverse learning techniques.
Welcome to my 6th-grade classroom! I teach at a Title I school where approximately 85% of the students at our school receive free or reduced-price lunch, and many come from single-parent, low-income households.
My classroom is very culturally diverse, and I have several students in my class who speak English as a second language.
Despite the challenges that my students are faced with, they come to school very eager to learn and willing to try new things. My favorite thing about my class is how my students love, accept, and celebrate each other despite their differences.
My Project
My students need basic tools of earbuds and colored ink pens to promote encouragement and focus for reaching their goals.
The earbuds will have a major impact on student engagement by increasing student ability to remain focused in order to reach their achievement goals through differentiated online instruction and lessons.
While writing, students use colored ink to correct errors within their work. For example, when writing responses or paragraphs, students use the colored ink pens during the proof reading stage of writing.
