My Students

My students are cognitively gifted as well as identified in a subject area. I will be beginning a new program for a self-contained Superior Cognitive Ability 4th and 5th grade, in our district.

We are strong and happy and eager to learn.

We are 8, 9 and 10 years old and we enjoy coming to school each day. We are all different in our ideas and learning styles but we all have one thing in common - we need to feel the authenticity and innovation for learning.

My Project

Our students are cognitively gifted and many are sensitive and have sensory and/or attention needs. These fidgets and sensory tools will help them to stay focused so that they can give their personal best and be the best students they can be.

We are trying to set our students up for success and want to allow them the opportunity to adjust and adapt to the new environment we are creating.

The pencil fidgets and weighted balls will help the students that need fine motor fidgeting while the desk and chair bands will allow the gross motor fidgeting needed by others.
