Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My kindergarten students will be starting this very important first step to their educational careers online. Families and students are grappling with the uncertainties. Many do not have materials they need to keep themselves organized or to participate in a standards based learning experience.
My Project
My new kindergarten learners will need these materials to help them duplicate our classroom environment and to focus on their virtual standards-based lessons while learning at home.
The kid-sized stylus will help students build fine motor skills while they are being asked to work virtually on tablets.
The headphones with microphones for younger learners were selected in a variety of colors to help me easily assign students in groups during our virtual learning breakout rooms, enable me to hear their sounds to better assess their phonological production, and help students focus on their lessons at home by blocking out background noise.
