Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have 28 third grade students who are ready to learn. What an exciting classroom it is for both the teacher and the students! The places my students can go are boundless.
My classroom includes students at all levels of learning.
Most of my students come from low-income homes. Many of them are English language learners who absorb words like sponges. They love both reading and math and are always up for a challenge. My students are always learning both in and outside the classroom. They are a hardworking bunch!
My Project
My wonderful third grade students have a hard time sitting in their seats all day and maintaining focus. That is why I want to include some flexible seating options and math games in my classroom to address the needs of my students with ADHD.
Having fun flexible seating options while playing math games will help my students focus and have fun while learning.
During math rotations my student often loose focus during fact practice centers. Having fun seating options that allow them to move about while playing math games to practice skills is the perfect solution for student with ADHD to stay on task.
By providing my students with some comfortable seating options, they will have a more enjoyable and productive learning experience. Thank you for considering funding this project. My students and I greatly appreciate it!
