I teach in a growing rural community. My classroom is filled with students who come to school everyday excited for a new challenge. All of my students are thoughtful, creative and energetic. They are always eager to try new things.
Every child in my classroom loves learning!
They are learning to advocate for themselves by choosing their best learning spot around the classroom. The environment in which they learn best varies greatly from child to child. In our classroom, a variety of learning styles are supported through whole group instruction, small group work, partner work and independent learning. This ensures that each child's needs are met. My students are an incredible group of thinkers and I am so lucky to have a group of students who are truly excited to learn each and every day!
My Project
These tools will help my students focus in various learning spots around the classroom. We already have some flexible seating choices in class and I am excited to add more to our collection! I have noticed a dramatic shift in my students' ability to focus when they can choose the spot that works best for them.

The products I have selected will all contribute to my students' learning by giving them flexible seating choices around the classroom. The wobble stools will be added to our growing classroom supply, allowing more students to choose the chair or stool that works best for them. The floor seats will give even more students the option to safely, comfortably and productively work around the classroom. The "offices" (privacy folders) will allow students to focus while working at their desk.
