My students need all types of flexible seating to increase their engagement! They can't imagine what's it like to sit in an over-sized beanbag and work on a lap desk; I'd love this opportunity for them.
My 8th grade students are amazing! They have a love for math that takes time to cultivate, but combined with a willingness to work hard and succeed, they can go places!. This class is a mix of levels with some students working on basic calculations and others are striving to learn algebra.
I feel like teaching with an excitement for math leads to learners with an excitement for math.
Their excitement for learning shows and I want to give them every opportunity to succeed!
My Project
I am requesting two large bean bags, lap desks, floor pillows as well as inflatable chairs. This assortment of flexible seating will give them both the chance to chose and to work successfully in their own learning style.

I want these 8th grades to enjoy math and work even hard to master their skill. Having a place where they love to learn provides the necessary motivation to keep them on the right track.
