My Students

I am a first-grade teacher in a Pre-K through 8th-grade school. Most of my students come from low-income families. Many of these children must deal with poverty on a daily basis. In spite of all of the negative forces, they must face daily, they are all very inquisitive and eager to learn students. My students need the stability and routine of a healthy school environment. We are engaged in our learning and are striving to become life-long learners.

My students are thinkers, dreamers, and doers.

They love to put on their “thinking caps” and stretch their brains to become the very best learners they can be. It is my desire to give them the tools they need to achieve their goals and realize their dreams.

My Project

My students have a variety of needs which need to be met in order to do their best in a school setting. Being able to provide my students with daily snacks, stretchy bands for their chairs, and sensory fidgets will help my students become more focused, better leaners.

Please help me give my students what they need to stay focused and healthy.

We eat lunch very early in the day. Many of my students are hungry in the afternoon as we get closer to the end of the school day. Having extra snacks in the classroom ensures that my students remain healthy and on task.
