Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students attend a low-income school with 100% of the students qualifying for free breakfast and lunch. They face many challenges; challenges many people will never experience in their lifetime. I am always amazed at the great attitudes, love for learning, and the kind hearts my kids have, regardless of these challenges. They are eager to learn and make great gains.

My Project
I am requesting a variety of materials that will help my special education students succeed in a general education classroom. I have requested fidget bracelets, special watches, and Swirly Bands that help students with ADHD focus and fuzzy tangle fidgets.
My special education students want to perform well in their classroom but often do not have the tools to do so.
By funding this project you will place something valuable into their hands that can be used for years to come. Sometimes a simple fidget can literally change a students' life for the remainder of their educational career.
