Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I love that my students are hard workers and try their best each and every day. Every day I believe in my students as I was the first to go to college and make my goals and dreams come true. I don't show off to my students, but I tell my students that if I can do it, they absolutely can achieve anything. We focus on the positive and leave out the negative and the personal struggles as we build a sense of resiliency as, I can do it! Si Se Puede! Our school motto. I praise my students and compliment them on genuine good choices they make each and every day.

I feel that my students deserve more like little prizes and I truly haven't had to use them as we build community like a family in our classroom, but I will use the resources available to supplement the intrinsic motivators that I already have in place.

My students deserve it based on their level of effort in the classroom.
