I have twenty-seven active students. They are very creative and like to have fun. I want to put their active minds to work to create meaningful work. They enjoy reading and writing and are very smart. They need engaging, creative, and fun lessons that will fit their needs and these projects should help. They are IB learners and I would love to provide flexible seating as well as math support.
My students love movement and need to be given options.
They really push and challenge themselves. I would like to be able to reach all of my students with all of their individual needs and learning styles.
My Project
My students need items to help them in certain areas. Of course, not all students are the same. With these items I will be able to differentiate my instruction more and create centers based on a certain need the student has.
For example, I need the Roll & Read Phonics Games to help support my students with their differences.
Some students have trouble with vowels while some need help with digraphs or the silent E.
I also want to be able to provide a listening center so that some of my students can hear the text be read to them. I'm asking for Califone headphones and headphone splitter. The magnetic white board will also help me move around and focus on certain groups instead of whole group instruction. For math, we need the plastic rulers.
To meet all of my students' needs I need materials. These materials will help them receive the support of the individual need and help them grow in that area.
