My students are bubbly, creative, and eager to learn. They love collaboration and learning as a family. My students learn in a variety of ways. The classroom is a place where learning happens in groups, in pairs, and individually. They are full of questions and like to figure things out. When they are connecting to the things that they are learning, they get so excited to share their "Aha!" moments. It's a beautiful thing to see students engaged and excited in their schooling world. My favorite part is when they understand something so well that they are able to teach a peer, and share their new found strategies. These strategies and foundations are enhanced through their online instruction.
My Project
My students spend 45 minutes on IREADY reading and math lessons each week on the computer. These lessons are geared toward each of their levels and build their foundation for reading as well as math. It is personalized and one of the ways we are closing the learning gap in my classroom. With headphones that are durable and over the ear, each student will be able to focus and concentrate on THEIR lessons. They will be able to hear and understand each of the strategies taught, as well as all of the phonics patterns and sounds that they desperately need to hear and learn. We are striving for success and growth. Without durable headphones my students do not have the best opportunity to get 100% out of these lessons.
