My Students

My 4th and 5th grade math students are hardworking individuals. They attend a high-poverty, Title 1 school. My school is a tight knit family, where my students do not just learn academics. They also learn team work and positive character traits that will benefit them for a lifetime. We believe in lifelong learning to promote future generations of leader.

Our school is located in a very rural area, leaving little opportunity for students to experience the same opportunities as other students in bigger schools.

My students would benefit from collaboration with others to create their own understanding of our math skills.

My Project

My students love their technology time, but they have been struggling with the ability to hear their individual lesson on the Chromebook. They take pride in learning and earning badges in their math games. It has become difficult for my students to work individually on Chromebooks because as they progress in the program the lessons get harder and require them to watch videos. I have around eighteen students in my room at a time, and it is hard to focus with eighteen Chromebooks playing at the same time.

Please help us focus on our individual growth.
