Foam Makes Games Fun for All Ages!

My Project

Our school is very unique as a k-8 with our large special needs population. With that being said our Physical Education programs play a wide variety of inclusive games to meet the needs of our students. The foam football and foam dodgeballs would be great additions to our equipment supply. Activities to teach and foster throwing and catching skills are used weekly in our classes.

The difference of regular versus foam equipment is that the foam allows our students to have more confidence in themselves to master these skills of throwing and catching.

Our students learn that even if they make a mistake or miss the catch, the ball will not hurt them and they can practice without fear of injury. Not only does this equipment provide a safety component, our special needs and younger students are able to feel more success because they can get a better grip on the ball while throwing.
