Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
We are growing and learning to love math! Students meet in our math class to receive extra support in order to be successful in school and in life. Please help students stay engaged and healthy during this time.
My students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge.
Our neighborhood has a very low socioeconomic status. Despite this, my students come to school with a smile everyday. They are counting on me for a better future. It is up to me give them a positive outlook on learning. My goal is to create an environment that makes my students feel empowered, independent, and welcomed.
My Project
When students struggle with ADHD, ADD, or emotional disorders, there are many moments through their day when focusing can be more of a struggle than we can imagine.
We want to make sure students have access to success by giving them fidget toys to ensure they can focus on the task at hand.
Studies show students can be more successful with these items. Some of the options will challenge their growth such as the Rubik's Cubes and puzzles.
I love this mixture of interesting brains that I get to accommodate to.
