I desperately want to instill the love of reading into each of my students. The more they read the more opportunities they will become aware of. The more successful students they will become. I want each of them to know that they can accomplish any goal they make for themselves. Of course it will take working hard to accomplish them, and not giving up no matter what obstacle that they face. Each of them strive to overcome their daily economic and social obstacles. It is an overwhelming joy to see them learning and expanding their knowledge, as well as, their love for reading.

My Project
Covid-19 has impacted our lives in drastic ways and has completely turned our educational process upside down! However, we can not allow it to negatively impact the future success of our youth. Third grade is a critical year in child's educational foundation. It is the first grade level that has state mandated assessments. In North Carolina those assessments are accessed by computer. Students need to be able to focus at home or at school without being disturbed from commotion and outside interference especially when reading and listening to computer ques. These headphones will drown out any outside noises and help them to stay focused on the task at hand.
