My Project

“Watch it Flow” is the perfect addition to our outdoor learning space. We have been working hard on fundraising for our school courtyard. Miss Val’s preschool class would love to bring the magic of a wild, rolling river to water play! The logs can be constructed to flow like a river enabling the children to explore different ways to create water flow.

Water play is a staple in our daily classroom routine for our preschool special education class.

Through sensory exploration, especially through water play, I can provide my wee-little learners with child-led open-ended play! What does that look like in preschool? The teacher lets the children lead their own play and steps back to observe and facilitate as needed to support a variety of skills spanning from language development, peer interaction, and cognitive skills such as critical thinking.

Please help us support our outdoor learning space by equipping our courtyard with the “Watch it Flow” river system. Not only is this activity loaded with sensory fun, but it also creates opportunities for science and math fun too!
