My students are all extremely compassionate, self-driven, and curious. Although they are only 9 to 10 years old, they are all genuine, loving people with caring hearts. Before the school day begins, they enter my classroom by greeting me and asking if they can help prep for the day in any way. They continue to provide me and their peers help and support throughout the entire day. When a student gets hurt physically, running around at lunch or experiences emotional distress outside of school, the rest of the students get emotional with them because they care so much about each other. When I call on a student to solve a problem or if I reward a student, the rest of the students always support them with silent applause. They are some of the sweetest human beings I have ever come to know, and I hope to support them as much as I can because they all deserve it! They are motivated to succeed! They love to pretend they are the teacher with their younger siblings and teach them everything they have learned in my class.
Kids thrive and shine bright when they are able to work and express themselves in more than just their desks and chairs. My students need to be able to move around while they are working.
Any chance they are able to work out of their standard desks and chairs is when I see them glow with enthusiasm.
My students will be ecstatic to learn in a classroom that gives them flexible seating arrangements when they need it.
It's time to say good bye to the average desks and chairs and hello to the comfortable and suitable seating arrangements for children. With your help, this will be possible!
