My students need gymnastics mats which will allow them to show their personal creativity through a five step gymnastics sequence.

My Students

Energetic, caring, and eager to move are just a few words that describe my students. I love when I see them come out to PE with big smiles on their faces asking "what are we doing today Coach?" This makes my heart happy. They love being physically active and have fun while doing it.

To Equip, Empower, and Enrich our Future Leaders is our school's mission statement.

To know that I am making a difference in the lives of our future leaders gets me excited about teaching them. Not only do we have future leaders, we have future athletes and gymnast just waiting to be discovered.

My Project

Having these gymnastics mats will allow me to teach students to create a personal five step gymnastics sequence. With teaching double classes I will need the large mat and the six small mats to allow each student to safely demonstrate their five step gymnastics sequence. The sequence will start with a beginning balance, three smooth transitions in the middle, and an ending balance. Our students love to show all their flexibility and flips but they don't understand how dangerous it can be without the proper padded equipment. The mats will allow the students creativity to shine through while being safe.
