My students are very innovative and creative individuals.
Students in our district often have limited technology experience. My students will begin to discover and cultivate their creativity as they begin to apply their unique gifts and talents and allow them to become the innovators and global leaders of tomorrow with the stories they will be able to create and tell.
My Project
I teach business and technology to some of the most creative, curious, and innovative students. My goal is to provide tech experiences to our students to promote 21st century learning and skills, but most of all give them a voice. Since becoming their teacher, I have wanted students to have a say in their learning and understanding. I introduced my students to Flipgrid. Flipgrid is an amazing video app designed to amplify student voice and empower students as learners. I want to begin the process of amplify their voices in the classroom by creating a Flipgrid Recording Studio that will elevate their voice in the classroom.
My classroom needs an iRig HD Microphones with an LED Ring Light tripod system and display adapters.
We have a large open room and does not allow for much quiet areas. I have used my own back office for students to record in quiet so they are able to speak during their Flipgrid recordings without much background noise, but this proves difficult for a large class. We are starting part 2 of our Flipgrid Recording Studio and we need to need reliable recording microphones and lighting. Having these iRig HD microphones with proper lighting will allow my students to record quickly without having to haul their large laptop computers around the room or wait until other students are not recording to be heard. The LED Ring and Studio light will provide perfect lighting for my students so they can be seen and heard during their Flipgrid.
I have worked very hard with my students to find their voice in the classroom and I want to bring that to the next level and continue to build our Flipgrid Recording Studio.
