This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Hello! This is my first year teaching 4th grade students. Our school serves a very high-need community as almost everyone of my students is economically disadvantaged, and many are English Language Learners.

Since this is my first year teaching elementary (I taught high school one year), I am trying to build my classroom supplies and make learning as interactive as possible.

By having flip chart grid paper, my students can make graphs and display them in the room and hallway. Currently, the markers I use are regular markers, and write very thin. By having the flip chart markers, my students would be able to read the things that are written down (flip chart markers write very bold).

By helping out, you can ensure that my students can create hands on projects and learn to work in groups! Just imagine how you could make such a big difference in such a little school!
