My students need an Apple TV to turn our regular projector into an interactive learning experience with our classroom iPad.

My Students

My students can't get enough out of our classroom iPad. Every time I use it in a small-group lesson, they are so engaged. However, I only have one iPad and over twenty kids. An Apple TV will allow me to mirror our classroom iPad so, I can engage all my students in whole group lessons.

My students are all military children.

They may have deployed parents which causes some changes in their home lives. Being successful in school can sometimes be more challenging when these new changes at home occur. Being located in Alaska causes some lack of materials that are available in other schools in the continental U.S.

My Project

The days of a teacher standing at the board and spilling out information should be over. Students can take over the lessons using the iPad and Apple TV. Apple TV allows children to stay at their desk or learning center and access the curriculum through technology. It allows me freedom to move about the room and interact with students through the iPad.

The educational technology that has become available to children has been amazing.

I would love for the children in my class to be able to access these applications and project their successes on screen. It also makes a great way to share projects, writing and successes for the whole class to see.
